Todd came to our house for a cooking lesson as a surprise for my husband’s birthday. We both have very ‘limited’ cooking skills but Todd’s easy-going personality made us feel comfortable immediately. He was open to our questions and really explained things to us as he helped us cook the most delicious meal we have ever had! Since our lesson, we are both open to trying more things in the kitchen and are looking forward to having him help us make our own pasta. I would highly recommend Todd to anyone – it’s a great “night out” (or night in) – we had an awesome time!

Todd took the time to prep all of the desserts prior to our lesson, so we could spend the most time learning and practicing the skills he demonstrated. Todd is obviously at ease in the kitchen, but more importantly he put us at ease. He made what might have been intimidating or daunting tasks fun and now we can’t wait for another lesson! The lessons made a great gift, and Todd was able to work around our busy schedules (nurse and surgical resident). Todd was adept in the kitchen as he was patient…an excellent teacher. He quickly gauged our skill and comfort level with the recipes and catered to what (little) we knew already.

I had been trying for weeks to master creme brulee (my boyfriend's and my favorite dessert) on my own. After many failed attempts and a lot of wasted ingredients my boyfriend surprised me with a "desserts" cooking class with chef Todd. Neither myself or my boyfriend have much cooking experience, but Todd's approach was simple, and he and his wife Trish made us feel totally comfortable in their beautiful home. Todd's classes are different in their informality. Before we even went to the class Todd made sure he knew what our goals were; he was able to accommodate our desire to learn to make creme brulee, and added in his own suggestions of other desserts to make. Todd puts so much more into his classes than the time he actually spends in the kitchen teaching...worth every penny!"

Many thanks for the wonderful class today! The Fish Taco Class you gave our mom's group was amazing. Not only did we learn new recipes but we now know many techniques that will m ake cutting peppers, avocados, mango, and many other foods easier. We also learned some new foods and some really cool kitchen tricks! We will be calling you soon about the fall class featuring pumpkin ravioli! Thank you again!!
